Archdiocese of India - Consecration of new Bishops |

On the 17th of January, His Holiness Mar Dinkha IV and the Holy Synod of Metropolitans and Bishops consecrated both Rev. Joju Antony Chirakkekaran and Rev. Shaju Poulose Pachamparambil as bishops for the Assyrian Church of the East in India. The bishops assumed the titles Mar Youkhanan Yosip and Mar Awgin Quryakos respectivly. The consecration and Eucharistic Liturgy were attended by 8000 faithful members of the Church of the East in India. Enjoy the links:
